Department Structure

The Rantoul Police Department exists to serve and protect the citizens of the Village of Rantoul. The department is made up of 32 sworn officers including a Chief, Deputy Chief, two Lieutenants, six Sergeants and three Investigators. The police department also operates a 24 hour-a-day and seven day-a-week dispatch center which handles police, fire and ambulance calls.
