Experienced Police Officer

To be eligible for the Experienced Police Officer Hiring Program, an individual must meet the following qualifications; 21 years of age, no felony convictions, excellent physical condition, and a high school graduate or equivalent. In addition, a non-probationary police officer or previous non-probationary police officer who is currently in good standing in the police department in which the person serves or has left the department in which such person served in good standing.
The Village of Rantoul offers a competitive benefits package. The starting salary for a lateral entry police officer is currently $57,209 annually.
