Community Development Homepage. The Community
Development Department works with individuals
to help them learn about goverment assistance
programs that are available to them. The Department
can aid you in the preparation and submission
of applications for programs.
Not only does the Community Development
Department work to assist individuals in gaining
access to programs, they also monitor the success
of the programs and the short term and lasting
effects that the programs have on the Village
of Rantoul.
Programs
& Grants
Emergency Repairs
- Under this program, a grant (up to $2,500) is
provided for code-related repairs of an emergency
nature which threatens the health or safety of the
occupants of the home.
Senior Citizens
- Funds through this program are provided for minor
repairs to homes which contain few code-related
deficiencies. The maximum amount of grant assistance
is $450.00.
