Inspection Department Homepage. The Inspection
Department is involved in reviewing building plans,
specifications, permit applications and other
materials to ensure that they are in compliance
with the Village Code and other regulations.
The department reviews permit applications
for everything from fences and signs to new subdivisions
and commercial buildings. There is also continual
inspection work that is done throughout the building
or renovation process to ensure that each step
of the project fulfills the requirements of the
code. The Inspection Department also has the task
of interpreting the Codes in any given set of
