Can I have chickens or other farm animals as pets in Rantoul?
No. Pursuant to Village Code (see link below), is is unlawful for any person to be an owner of any farm animal within the Village of Rantoul. If any farm animal is discovered to be within the Village, then they will be impounded by any police officer or animal control officer. Ch. 8, Article V, Sec. 8-95
