Waste Hauling

Pursuant to Village of Rantoul Ordinance, Ch. 28, waste hauling service is required in the Village of Rantoul and any waste hauling companies wishing to conduct business in Rantoul need to be licensed by the Village of Rantoul to do so.

Recycling Calendar

Recycling is picked up on the 1st and 3rd full week of each month. Please have your recyclables at the curb by 6:00am.

If your collection falls on a holiday, pickup will occur on the following day.2026 Recycling Calendar Please note: The below listed items cannot be placed in the recycling carts. Please go to the Champaign County Environmental Stewards website to view where these items can be taken and disposed of:

  • Appliances
  • Construction and demolition debris
  • Electronics
  • Light bulbs
  • Auto and vehicle fluids
  • Parts and tires
  • Yard waste
