• Motorists are prohibited from use of cellular phones in school speed zones
• Motorists are prohibited from use of a cellular phone in ALL construction/road maintenance zones (Updated language Jan 1, 2013).
• All motorists are prohibited from using a cellular phone within 500ft of an emergency zone (traffic accident, traffic stop, etc). Also prohibits photographing an emergency scene (NEW in 2012).
• Commercial drivers are prohibited from using handheld mobile phones or engaging in texting while driving (Effective Jan 1, 2013.
